The Power of Voting In-Person
Engaged citizens are essential to a healthy democracy, they have the voting power to make change happen in government. However, if you don’t learn about and apply this power, someone else will do it for you – and it could be against your own interests. The League of Women Voters of Yakima County will help you discover your voting power as they go over local elections, the impact of voting, how you can register to vote, and answer any questions you may have. A voter registration table will be available for students, staff, and faculty.
